This policy explains how Builtwise Group Pty Ltd (ABN 73 675 775 096), trading as Builtwise, handles personal information collected through this website. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Details you enter in our forms: name, company, email, phone, project location, building type and size, project stage, timeline, project description and any plans you attach.
• How you found us: the page you landed on, the referring website and campaign tags in the link you used (for example utm_source or an advertising click identifier). We store these with your enquiry so we know which of our activities produce enquiries.
• Website usage data collected through analytics cookies or similar technology when analytics is enabled (pages viewed, device and approximate location). This does not include the content of forms.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, manage a project with you, improve our website and measure which marketing works. We do not sell personal information. We send marketing emails only with your consent, and every message includes a way to unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host our website and process form submissions (Netlify), analytics providers (Google, if analytics is enabled), and consultants, engineers and certifiers engaged on your project. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Uploaded plans are stored privately and accessed only through time-limited links.

Security and retention

We protect information with access controls and secure (HTTPS) transmission, and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by calling 07 2142 1772 or writing to Builtwise Group Pty Ltd, Unit 3, 73-75 Steel Street, Capalaba QLD 4157. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
